About Mayra

I’m Mayra Blömer — an artist, illustrator and tattoo artist.
My work lives at the intersection of nature, travel, mindfulness and personal growth.

I’ve been drawing and creating for as long as I can remember. What started as playing with lines and colors slowly grew into a way of telling stories, expressing emotions and capturing moments.

Nature, travel and slowing down

Nature plays a central role in both my life and my work. Through my travels — and especially during my long hike on the Pacific Crest Trail — I rediscovered the power of slowing down, paying attention and living more simply.

That way of seeing flows into everything I create: from illustrations and paintings to tattoos and creative journals. Plants, animals, landscapes and quiet moments often return in my work, together with a sense of meaning and emotion.

Creating from the heart

I believe in creating from the heart, not from perfection.
Whether I work with fineliners, watercolor, acrylic paint, collage or digitally on the iPad, the process is just as important to me as the result.

Alongside my personal artwork, I also develop projects like The Mindful Sketchbook, a collection within my shop MaysNaturePrints. Here I combine creativity with calm, reflection and mindful living — not to perform, but to create space, feel and reconnect.

What you’ll find here

Everything I create is made with care and attention, inspired by nature, travel and living with intention.uur, reizen en het leven van binnenuit.
